MINNER: MORE "OPEN DOOR AFTER 4"

WILMINGTON -- Governor Ruth Ann Minner will hold her next “Open Door After 4” session in Wilmington on Friday, Feb. 21, spending five minutes apiece with some interested residents.

Twenty-four slots are available for the Feb. 21 session from 4 to 6 p.m. on the 12th floor of the Carvel State Office Building and those slots are expected to fill up quickly. To set up an appointment for the Feb. 21 Open Door session, call Kate Bailey at (302) 577-8229.

Residents who call after all the Feb. 21 slots are filled will be asked to call back when the date and location of the March “Open Door After 4” session is announced.

“I’m looking forward to my first ‘Open Door After 4’ upstate,” Gov. Minner said. “I’ve enjoyed talking with fellow Delawareans during my sessions in Dover and I look forward to learning more about the issues affecting our New Castle County residents.”

Residents can talk about any topic they choose during their Open Door After 4 session, they just need to name their topic when scheduling their appointment. For security reasons, those who receive an appointment will need to provide the name, address, telephone number, social security number and date of birth of everyone who will attend the meeting with the Governor.

The deadline for appointments for the Feb. 21 session is the end of the day Tuesday, Feb. 18, but all the slots are actually expected to be filled within hours of being announced.
